I would like to bring to your kind attention facts of what happened during the screening of Xarabank of the 26/10/2007.

I Mrs. Yoda Cassar voluntary attended as one of the speakers on the panel of Xarabank of the 26/10/2007. I was shouted at by the presenter Mr. Peppe Azzopardi (Judge and jury) in front of all Malta, to see me being accused of doing harm to people who use my service as a professional fortune teller (registered as fortune teller with ETC).

I Mr.Yoda Cassar said that I felt really bad and sick of the way certain fortune tellers as shown on the filming treated people.The program was not balanced by the guests who were sitting on the panel and plus that even one off his helpers controlling the audience started to question me. All on the panel were against me including Mr.Azzopardi. Where was the balance that it is supposed to be held during such programs as ordered by the Broadcasting Authority? Not even one on the panel was chosen who believed in my profession. Not only that a person sitting there on the panel, on a program on another TV station about haunted places was seen crying because she said she saw something and did not want to talk about it. How quickly it seems some people change their agenda so they can be seen on TV.

To add insults to injury, people who used my service and wanted to contact Peppe during the program to confirm that I Yoda helped them in their lives, both those present in the hall and those at home were never allowed to. Days before the program started, Xarabank started showing clips of films which asked that any one who had an experience with fortune tellers, mediums etc to phone Xarabank about their experience. How is it he did not air the views of many of my clients who phoned him up?

The only young man who was allowed to speak who was present in the hall and said that I Yoda helped him was all the time being interrupted by both Peppe and his diehards. Peppe did not allow this young man to mention my name because he was saying that I helped him as Peppe agenda was to allow only dirty things said about me. Than it was alright for Mr,P.Azzopardi to keep shouting at me “”Yoda w inti taghmlu il- maghmul u vera” for a lot of times.

Those fortune tellers, mediums etc and even the one who wanted sex with the person who was asking for his service as shown on the filming were NOT IDENTIFIED had their rights protected while I Yoda was made the scapegoat of the program.

This I call bluntly a WITCH HUNT and CHARACTER ASSINATION.
It is the duty of all of you sitting on the board to give me Yoda the right of having Mr.P.Azzopardi to publicly apologize to me at the earliest program of Xarabank for the way I was mistreated.

L-iżjed ħaġa serja f’din l-ittra ta’ Yoda Cassar hija li l-ETC taċċetta bħala xogħol “il-qari tax-xorti”. Jekk bħala prinċipju l-qari tax-xorti, skond Peppe verżjoni 2007, huwa kontra kull etika u liġi morali, l-attakk isteriku emozzjonanti għandu jmur fuq il-gvern u mhux fuq l-impjegati.

L-ETC se tibda tħarreġ lill-nies bla xogħol li jirreġistraw, fuq korsijiet dwar il-qari tax-xorti. Il-prattika se ssir fuq il-persuna li ma taħdimx mill-persuna li ma taħdimx.

Yoda ma bassretx dak li kulħadd ibassar kull Ġimgħa: il-panel dejjem ikun żbilanċjat iżjed mis-suġġett li ma jifhmux fih.
